Prince Charles and Boris Johnson set for awkward meeting in Rwanda after migration row
PRINCE Charles and Boris Johnson are likely to meet in Rwanda after the migrants row.
Charles sparked a bust-up with No 10 after describing the Rwandan deportation policy as “appalling”.
He is set to have an awkward encounter with the PM in the East African country’s capital Kigali next week where they are both attending a major Commonwealth summit.
They will meet at a formal reception thrown for all the attending leaders.
But they could also have a private meeting away from prying eyes, The Sun understands.
A Whitehall source said they expected the two men would “try to have a chat”.

Last night, Downing Street insisted the PM has “great affection and admiration” for the prince.
But it admitted their relationship “has not had the same opportunity to blossom” as the one the PM has with the Queen.
A Cabinet minister attacked Charles for wading into politics, saying: “He is an adornment to public life, but that will cease to be charming if he attempts to behave the same way when he is king.
“That will present serious constitutional issues.”
Lawyers and union activists will today try to convince the Appeal Court to block tomorrow’s first deportation flight to Rwanda.
Last night, it was claimed that all 31 migrants due to be flown out are mounting a legal challenge — so even if the appeal judges give the go-ahead, there may be no one to put on the flight.
