Good Morning America's Robin Roberts has left fans in hysterics with a shocking joke just before she broke down in tears about a major life update.
The morning host thanked her GMA colleagues and partner for their continuous support in her life.
On Wednesday fellow GMA anchor Michael Strahan revealed that Roberts graced the cover of for their annual Pride Month issue.
However, the surprise announcement was told through a joke, as Roberts interrupted Strahan to say that it was about her being gay.
Viewers could hear the co-anchors laugh as a photo of the cover was shown on screen.
Roberts then expressed her gratitude for being chosen by People Magazine for the cover.

"I am honored. I am blessed and I am grateful," Roberts said.
The issue highlights the importance of being true to yourself and why allyship in the LGBTQIA+ community is significant.
The famed GMA anchor specifically thanked Deborah Roberts, another ABC News co-worker and friend, who has always been supportive of her.
"We are both southern girls," Roberts said about her friend. " I'm forever grateful to her and I can just be me."

The two have been friends for almost 20 years. Roberts described Deborah as being the one who speaks up for her when she isn't there.
"Deborah represents. Deborah speaks up,", Liz Vaccariello, People Magazine editor-in-chief, said about their friendship.
"What stands out for me about Robin and Deborah is that it's just a normal friendship at the end of the day."
Robin Roberts also credited Sam Champion, a former GMA meteorologist, for inspiring her to come out in 2013.
"Then in 2012, when Sam got married to Rubem, his husband, I was there at the wedding. I was able to see how our bosses at ABC embraced it," Roberts told People Magazine.
While it was publicly known to her friends, family, and colleagues that she was gay, Roberts revealed to People Magazine that she decided to come out to the public because of her partner, Amber Laign.
In 2012, Robin Roberts was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, a bone marrow disease, after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, reported.
Since then, Laign has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Roberts told the world about her relationship through social media.
"I was just thanking everybody. I did it via a simple social media post where I thanked my doctors, my parents. But then, was I not going to thank this woman who had been by me through this illness?
Roberts added that she was thankful to the public for not making her sexuality a big deal.
She admitted she was scared of coming out at first but quickly realized that her story could give someone else hope.
"Then I realized, if somebody who looks like me was to come along, maybe I could give them a little more courage. Maybe they would know they were not walking alone," Robin Roberts told People Magazine.
