Putin’s space chief threatens to wipe out half of Europe with Satan-II nuke missile in chilling warning

VLADIMIR Putin's space chief has threatened to wipe out half of Europe with a Satan-2 nuke missile.

Dmitry Rogozin made the chilling warning after Putin’s foreign minister Sergei Lavrov was blocked from travelling to Serbia for a two-day trip.

Rogozin lashed out after Bulgaria, Romania and Montenegro shut down their air space to halt his trip - warning they would not be able to stop a 208-tonne RS-28 Sarmat missile.

Standing at the colossal height of a 14-storey tower block, the world-ending nuke is capable of striking targets at almost 16,000mph.

It can carry 15 warheads and has the potential to obliterate an area the size of the UK in a single blast.

Rogozin, the head of Russian space agency Roscosmos has previously bragged about how Russia can deploy almost 50 of its "unstoppable" Satan-2 nuke.

In response to his flight ban, Rogozin, a former deputy prime minister and Putin super-loyalist, said: "Do you know what is so good about Sarmat?

"It will not ask for a flying permit from Bulgarian cowards, vindictive  Romanians and Montenegrins - who betrayed our joint history."

He warned the same would apply to Sweden which is set on joining Nato.

But Rogozin’s chilling message to Europe sparked a hail of abuse and memes ridiculing him.

One person told him: "Judging by your army performance, a missile aimed at Bulgaria will fall somewhere by Irkutsk [in Siberia]."

Another said: "Can you please stop typing in Cyrillic… Bulgarian cowards do not want trash like you using their letters. Glory to Ukraine."

A third wrote: "Fed up with your mentions of the past. Why don’t you speak about the future?

"Because there is no future for Russia with guys like you. You are at a dead end. You are not Russia. You are mafia, who illegally took power."

Serbia has close cultural ties with Russia, and has fended off pressure to take sides over Russia's invasion of Ukraine, refusing to join Western sanctions against Moscow.

In his latest attempt at scaremongering by Russia, Rogozin highlighted a 26ft deep hole made using the Satan-2 nuke without an atomic warhead at a training range in Kamchatka.

He said: "With a nuclear charge, such a crater at an enemy site will be well, very large and very deep - and radioactive.

“And not just one, but exactly as many as the most powerful nuclear missile in the world will deliver to the territory of a fierce enemy.

“And we will soon have almost 50 such Sarmats [known in the West as Satan-2] on combat duty.

“It remains only to advise the aggressors to talk more politely with Russia.”

And it comes after Rogozin threatened to cause "death of the International Space Station" in a venomous spat with one of Nasa's most famous former astronauts.

In a deleted tweet, Rogozin apparently called Scott Kelly a "moron" who should "get off" social media.

"Otherwise, the death of the ISS will be on your conscience," he warned.

Kelly shared a screenshot of the tweet, saying in Russian: "Why did you delete this tweet?

"Don't want everyone to see what kind of child you are?"

Rogozin hit back at Kelly, saying he will "not allow you to behave like that".

"Perhaps the dementia and aggression that you have developed is a consequence of the overload and stress of four flights into space," he said.

Russia's space chief seemingly couldn't hack the argument and resorted to blocking Kelly.
