Police on hunt for mystery cross-dressing man who keeps striding through upmarket village in LINGERIE
Man spotted 'parading about in broad daylight' in footballers' wives HQ Wilmslow, Cheshire
POLICE are hunting a cross-dresser seen repeatedly seen striding through a millionaire footballers' village - in just high heels and women's underwear.
Officers in posh Wilmslow, Cheshire - home to mega-rich Manchester United and City stars and their WAGs - have received several reports of a lingerie-clad man "acting suspiciously" in recent months.
Last month Cheshire Police revealed a man dressed as a woman in lady's lingerie was seen at around 10.30am striding through the bustling Styal Road area of the village.
Now officers say the same man was spotted at midday on Thursday September 22 wearing lingerie and acting "suspiciously" in woodland near Adlington Road.
In both cases the oddball is said to have "paraded about in broad daylight" and is described by eye-witnesses as being white, in his early 30s and with short brown hair.
Leafy Wilmslow is home to a string of footie stars and soap actors.
Famous residents include former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and Corrie legends William Roache, Denise Welch, Samia Smith and Helen Flanagan.

Today Sgt Angela Coppock said: "Over the past two months there have been number incidents of a similar nature and we are keen to trace the person responsible.
"In each of the incidents the man hasn't approached anyone, but has caused alarm to those who have seen him.
"We would like to reassure residents that patrols have been increased in the local area."
Last month Sgt Coppock explained how his strange behaviour on Styal road six weeks ago "upset a resident"; who was out jogging.
She said at the time: "The man hasn't approached anyone but did cause alarm to those who saw him, especially the woman who was on her own jogging in the woods at the time.
";We have been patrolling the area and have not had any further reports."
