South Street Philadelphia mass shooting victims identified as bloody evidence recovered from the scene
VICTIMS of the Philadelphia mass shooting have been identified as bloody evidence has been recovered.
Police said that the three confirmed dead include one thought to be a gunman in the shooting that took place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania just before midnight on Saturday.

The other two, including Quinn, are believed to be innocent bystanders.
Two victims have since been identified as Alexis Quinn, 27; and Gregory “Japan” Jackson, 34, according to police.
Kristopher Minners, 22, was identified as the third victim, according to State Senator Vincent J. Hughes per the .
According to , the American Federation of Teachers confirmed that Minners - who was celebrating his birthday prior to his death - worked as a resident advisor at Girard College.

Girard College's Interim President James Turner said in a statement: "Our hearts are broken for Kristopher and his family, and our thoughts are with everyone who was impacted by this appalling act of violence.
"I visited with Kris’ parents this morning and the College will continue to offer them every support.";
Jackson is remembered by his loved ones as a boxer, known as "Japan Jackson" in the ring, according to the .
Including the three who were fatally shot, 14 people were struck by gunfire. One person was injured but shattered glass.
Cops rushed to the scene and said they saw several shooters firing into a crowd of people on South Street, explained.
Police said one of the responding officers "observed an unknown black male ... firing into a large crowd" - prompting the unidentified man to drop his gun on the sidewalk and run from the scene.
Along with the three people who died, nine victims were taken to the Thomas Jefferson hospital in the city where one was pronounced dead by medics.
Seven of the people admitted are said to be in a stable condition, a hospital spokesperson told
And, three other victims were taken to the Presbyterian Medical Center where one was pronounced dead.
Those who were injured ranged in age from 17 to 69. Their conditions range from stable to critical.
Cops haven’t released the identity of any potential suspects.
According to Fox 29 Philadelphia, police commissioner Danielle Outlaw said during a Sunday press conference that one of the deceased victims may have been involved in a fight with another man.
She reportedly noted that the incident may have been the "genesis" of the shooting and that both of the men were shot, one of them fatally.
'Unthinkable acts'
Following the incident, Outlaw said: "While many were out enjoying a beautiful day in the city, horrendous and unthinkable acts happened in the popular local and tourist hangout.
"These acts claimed the lives of three people and injured 12 others.
"We mourn the lives lost and the dozens of lives affected by this tragedy."

There was an abundance of officers around South Street when the shots first rang out, said Outlaw.
"There were several events going on in the city at one time," Outlaw said, speaking of a local concert.
"Our presence was heightened because of multiple events taking place in the city, but just because of the anticipation of many people out and about."
Two officers were within walking distance from where the shooting occurred and rushed to the scene.
Upon their arrival they found several civilians suffering from gunshot wounds sprawled on the street and sidewalk.
Sources told the that an officer shot at one of the shooters from around 10-15 yards away while shots were being fired into the crowd.
Police believe the shooter was struck by the officer, possibly in the leg.
One shooter reportedly fled the scene while two guns were recovered from the scene, according to police.
One of the guns was found with an extended magazine. Ballistics evidence shows there were at least five different guns fired.
Inspector D.F Pace said: "But, the officer was able to get that individual to drop his gun and flee at this time."
Witness Joe Smith told the "Once it started I didn't think it was going to stop.
"Here was guttural screaming. I just heard screams."
While, Eric Walsh, who was closing an O'Neal's bar when the shooting erupted, told the outlet: "People were coming off the street with blood splatters on white sneakers and skinned knees and elbows.
"We literally just were balling up napkins and wetting them and handing them to people."
Footage shared online showed dozens of police officers at the scene.
And, there appeared to be a trail of blood "snaking along a sidewalk" in front of a Rita's Ice shop, Inquirer journalistrevealed.
Pace said: "You can imagine there were hundreds of individuals just enjoying South Street, as they do every single weekend, when this shooting broke out."
The detective added that some people dived behind cars for cover.
An investigation into the crime remains underway by the Philadelphia Police Department.
Mayor Jim Kenney is urging "anyone with information about this incident, or any other crimes, to report it to 215-686-TIPS."
'I HEARD SCREAMS'
The shooting comes amid a spate of gun violence that has hit America.
One woman died while eight more people were injured after a gunman opened fire into a crowd of around 100 people in Phoenix, Arizona on June 4.
Police believe a party had been taking place near the strip mall, and 100 people were in the area when the shooting happened, reports.
Sgt. Andy Williams, of Phoenix Police, said cops believe an argument sparked the shooting.
A teen boy was among those shot but he’s expected to survive, reported.
The victims are believed to be between the ages of 17-24, according to police.
And, a person has been killed after shots were fired at a Friday night party in Chester, Virginia.
Six people were shot in total, Lt. Dave Sumner told The Sun.
