"We are so distraught. I don’t even want to be associated because I’m so disgusted."

In order to avoid being associated with her uncle's "heinous" crime, she asked the publication to not name her in their report.

She also explained that police discovered a note from her uncle that outlined his motive for his planned attack, but the officers didn't say what was in the note.

Louis' niece, who is unnamed further shared: "It’s just so shocking."

"Like, if he had killed himself, okay. But those innocent people, that’s what I’m hurting about."

"This is really crazy. Like, this is shocking… No one in our family, like nobody in our family, has this type of behavior. No one."

How many people died at the Tulsa hospital shooting?

The shooter gunned down and killed a total of four victims.

Dr Preston Phillips, who operated on Michael, was one of the lives lost.

The other three victims included hospital staffers Dr Stephanie Husen and Amanda Glenn, as well as a patient named William Love.

At Thursday's news conference, the Associate Chief Medical officer of St Francis, Dr Ryan Elizabeth Parker, spoke about the victims.

Dr Parker stated: "I know that all of my colleagues went into medicine to help people."

"We are supposed to be the ones that are caring for others during tragedies like this."

She further shared: "To think that our caregivers were the victims is just incomprehensible to me."

"They died while serving others. They died in the line of duty."
