Five suspected ISIS terrorists arrested for ‘computer terrorism’ across Europe
They are accused of running a Facebook page called ‘Islam in Spanish’
FIVE suspected ISIS terrorists have been arrested in a joint operation between police in Spain, Belgium and Germany.
Three were held in Barcelona and Spain’s north African enclave of Melilla with the other two being held in the German city of Wuppertal east of Dusseldorf and the fifth in Brussels.
A Spanish Interior Minister spokesman said they formed a “perfectly organised structure” acting under the orders of ISIS whose objectives including inciting terrorism and choosing extremists they could ally to their cause.
Officials described the two suspects held in Germany and Belgium as administrators of a Facebook page called ‘Islam in Spanish.’

He said the group’s objectives included inciting terrorism, undertaking “computer terrorism”, selecting radicals they could recruit and helping them reach territories controlled by IS in Iraq and Syria.
Last week police in Madrid arrested a Spaniard accused of watching ISIS propaganda videos during class-time and threatening to massacre his fellow pupils.

The 27-year-old Spaniard also allegedly told his classmates he wanted to join the terror group after celebrating their attacks including the Paris attacks last November which claimed the lives of 130 people.
He was held after returning from a trip to Turkey which authorities have yet to release details about.
Officers said he also visited a library near his study centre most days where he surfed the Internet and aired his extremist views using a fake profile.
A second suspect, an 18-year-old man, has been held in the same police operation dubbed GRIN on suspicion of glorifying terrorism.
