NANNY FROM HELL

Depraved Russian babysitter who BEHEADED four-year-old girl to ‘avenge Putin’s bombing in Syria’ will NOT face jail because she’s mentally ill

Gyulchehra Bobokulova, 38, claimed she was ordered by Allah to decapitate the girl

An "evil" jihadi nanny who decapitated a four year old girl acted alone and had no terrorist accomplices, Russian cops claim.

Gyulchehra Bobokulova, 38, claimed she was ordered by Allah to decapitate the girl to "avenge Vladimir Putin's aerial bombardment of Muslims in Syria", and then brandished her severed head in the streets of Moscow.

A seven month probe included questioning her adult son and a former boyfriend as well as analysis of her rambling "500-page" online correspondence on a social media site.

The burka-clad babysitter strode around the city clutching the girl's bloody head in her hand, shouting 'Allah Akbar' (Arabic for 'God is Great') and threatening to blow herself up in February.

Investigators found that she waited until the girl's parents left the flat with an older child and then used a knife to behead the girl, before setting fire to the flat.

She then grabbed the child's severed head and walked around waving it in the air near a Moscow metro station.

But the new announcement from the Investigative Committee - the Russian equivalent of the FBI - indicated there was no evidence that she committed the crime on behalf of a terrorist group or was in touch with militants.

This had been one line of inquiry and led to detailed analysis of her online postings.

It also confirmed that she will not face jail for the crime to which confessed hours after the killing of Anastasia (Nastya) Meshcheryakova, a child she cared for as a nanny.

The investigation has now closed and the case will go for trial with the finding - after detailed medical investigation - that Bobokulova suffers from a "chronic psychiatric disorder".

A judge will be urged to order her to undergo "forced compulsory medical measures" rather than prison.

The nanny has already claimed this could allow her to be free in three years if she can show that she is cured.

Judges seldom reverse the recommendations of investigators in Russian courts.

In an extraordinary interview in July from her psychiatric hospital prison cell in notorious Butyrka Prison, an apparently lucid Bobokulova said: "I know everything.

"I have to undergo compulsory treatment for three years and then they will let me go."

She explained that she wants to return to live in her native Uzbekistan, a former Soviet republic in central Asia.

But in an earlier court appearance in Moscow, a judge refused to allow her to be treated in her homeland declaring there was a risk she could "cut off someone else's head".

The nanny complained that the unknown drugs she is being given in her Moscow jail are making her "fat and unattractive" .

A psychiatrist working with her said: "She has not attacked anybody (in jail) during the last three months.

"But this is thanks to intensive therapy only.

"If she stops taking her pills right now, I cannot guarantee how she will behave. The chance of another crime is 50-50."

Speaking after the killing, she said she was acting in revenge for Putin's military action in Syria.

She told a police interrogator: "Putin spilled (blood), he bombed with planes. Why on Muslim people? Why are you bombing? Nobody says anything. They want to live too. They want to live too.

"Just look - a little little child."

She stressed: "Yes, I took a revenge on him."

She also claimed to have watched beheadings by militant groups on her computer .

"I saw online how they were cutting off heads. This hatred.

"There was a voice in my head: 'Do it to the girl'. "

She added: "I saw how they cut off heads and I did it.

"The voices - I killed the girl, yes. But I don't need treatment."

Before moving to live in Russia, she was diagnosed with schizophrenia in Uzbekistan.
