The film of the humiliating attack was uploaded on social media yesterday evening and has caused outrage across the country after it was viewed over 600,000 times.

Police have now launched an investigation into the shocking video filmed in Armington, Tamworth, Staffs.

Staffordshire Police confirmed it was investigating after Demmi was treated in hospital for minor injuries following the attack on Monday afternoon.

The clip starts with the bully dragging Demmi by her hair across concrete paving and hitting her in the back of her head nine times as Demmi screams out in pain.

The boy filming can be heard sniggering and shouts: "Go on, stamp her. Go on, level her man."

Demmi, dressed in her school uniform, bursts into tears and the attacker stands over her and taunts her, asking: "Why are you crying?

"Bringing s**t into my family, you are getting banged. I told you I was going to bang you."

Another boy then shouts: "Now bang her fully. You got to get her in the face, you ain't got her in her face yet. Until she's got a proper lip."

The bully shouts: "I keep kicking her, I can't get her face."

The boy responds: "Stand on her foot and just go 'bang' into her jaw."

The video then shows four young boys watching on and jeering at Demmi, telling her to get up.

When she says: "I don't want to," the thug girl mocks her, saying: "Aww, poor Demmi scared? Come on, stand up. I will kick you in the head for about an hour."

After Demmi says: "Just leave me alone," the yob grabs her by the hair again before brutally punching her in the head six times as Demmi writhes around in pain on the floor.

As her victim sits crying, the older bully stands over her and says: "Did I just bang you or did I not?"

Demmi says: "Yes you did."
