BEING sent £2,000 worth of food and drinks in Wetherspoons sounds like a recipe for quite the eventful evening.
But it didn't end well for this bloke - as Tom Birchy, 23, claims the boozer "scammed" him out of his expensive feast.

The TikTok star called on his legion of followers to send him a treat while he enjoyed a drink in the sunshine at The Golden Beam Wetherspoons in Headingley, Leeds.
He informed them of his table number and asked people to "order him something funny" on the Wetherspoons app.
The pub was quickly bombarded with orders as social media users rushed to gift the self-proclaimed "King of Leeds" refreshments.
Tom's table rapidly filled up with an array of bizarre and boozy items - including single pots of peas, ice cream, a double whisky and fried eggs.

But as his TikTok video continued to gain pace, a ridiculous number of orders flooded in - which amounted to a whopping £2,000.
Wetherspoons said the pub became "overwhelmed" by orders, which slowed down service for other punters and violated their drinking policy.
Tom, who boasts over 170,000 followers, explained in a later post: "We had a couple things served, but then they came out and said food wasn't feasible.
"I said cool, make sure we get the drinks though!"

But as he relished in the boozy bounty with his pals, Tom was then informed by Wetherspoons workers they would no longer serve him.
The TikToker claimed "lazy staff refused" to keep bringing the orders over - and that his kind followers would be left out of pocket.
He said in a video: "Right, full madness, anything you've ordered is not going to be sent. And also you are not going to be refunded.
"The lady did explain why but yeah if you've ordered something for me, I've not received it and you're not getting your money back."
The 23-year-old, claims he was told "there was too much alcohol being offered to his table" and "the pub would not fulfil any other orders".
He hit out at the branch for "scamming" hundreds of social media users and "stealing" their hard-earned cash that they had spent.
WAGING WAR ON WETHERSPOONS
The influencer slammed one staff member for withholding his banquet "for no gain to herself other than less walking for her staff."
Furious Tom then encouraged his army of followers to send a barrage of emails to the company in a bid to get them to refund the orders.
He even appealed to the students of Leeds to join in, explaining: "End of the day all I want is my follower's money back.
"I want their hard-earned money, that they kindly purchased me food and drink with, returned."
Wetherspoons has now confirmed they are working on refunding all of the orders which were not delivered to Tom's table.
The TikToker claimed he was also barred from the establishment in wake of the incident.
'OVERWHELMED'
A spokesperson for the company said: " The customer has over 170,000 social media followers and very soon the pub was overwhelmed by orders to his table, including a large number of alcoholic drinks.
"This slows down service for the pub’s customers.
"It is also contrary to the Company’s responsible drinking policy, which is designed to promote the statutory licensing objectives, an important part of the pub licensing system.
"As a matter of common sense, it is undesirable for customers to build up a large number of drinks on their table at any one time.
"The customer was informed that there was too much alcohol being ordered to his table and the pub would not fulfil any other orders.
"We understand at this stage, he asked his followers to send drinks to other tables.
