Jeremy Corbyn’s pressure group Momentum stands by sick comics mocking crippled war heroes calling them ‘artwork’
One of the comics features 'PTSD Action Man' who comes with 'a crutch, antidepressants, lager and a noose'
JEREMY Corbyn’s hard left pressure group has branded sick comics mocking crippled British war heroes “artwork” that shows “the human costs of war”.
Senior Labour MPs demanded the material be withdrawn immediately.
But the group - set up to keep the veteran socialist Labour leader in power - refused to ban its sale at their events.
Momentum leader James Schneider told The Sun: “It isn't criticising or mocking troops and veterans, but drawing attention to the human costs of war on all sides”.
The Sun today reveals just how twisted one of the stall’s comics is, based on a fictitious Action Men series.
It features "PTSD Action Man", who comes accompanied with "a crutch, antidepressants, lager and a noose".
On another page, "Dead Action Man" comes "in his own body bag" along with "a spade, wreath and dog tags."
The cruel toys are accompanied with children smiling as they stage a mock funeral for a British soldier in a Union flag draped coffin, and "DAD" written in flowers.
