Mystery as two severely burned bodies found inside burning car near golf course
TWO severely burned bodies were found inside a burning car near a golf course on Monday morning.
At approximately 4.30am, NYPD and FDNY officials arrived on the scene at Shore Road in the vicinity of Pelham Split Rock Course in the Bronx.
Authorities first found the car, a Honda Accord, engulfed in flames alongside the road.
After the flames were extinguished, two unidentified bodies were discovered.
Police said one body was found in the vehicle's driver's seat and the other was located in the front passenger seat, the reports.
Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials have stated that the fire was not a result of a collision.
An investigation is underway by the fire marshal and police authorities.
The cause of death for both bodies will be determined by the medical examiner, a police spokesperson said.
