Urgent warning as Starburst, Skittles, and Life Savers gummies recalled due to metal strand fears

MARS Wrigley recalled several gummy candies due to the possibility of thin metal shards in the candy and the bags, reports say.

The company voluntarily recalled the gummies in the , , and over fears a thin metal strand could be in the candies or their packaging.

Skittle Gummies, Starburst Gummies, and Life Saver gummies are among those that were recalled, reported .

"We are working closely with our retail partners to remove any potentially impacted products from stores," a spokesperson told the publication.

The recall was put out due to a number of customer complaints.

However, the company said in a statement it isn't aware of any illnesses or injuries caused by the metal strands.
