Kate steps out on her Canadian tour wearing a £5,000 Cartier watch that was a gift from William
ONE must never be late to appointments - and the Duchess of Cambridge has proved she can keep time in style.
Kate was spotted stepping out wearing her £4850 Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch while touring through Canada with husband William, the delicate silver timepiece
Her outfit for the second day of their Canadian tour had clearly been well-planned, with Kate wearing a red and white dress designed by Alexander McQueen as a nod to the royal couple's host country.
A gift from William, the watch is one of the more expensive items that the Duchess wears - costing even more than her £4000 McQueen dress.
The luxurious watch is a change of tack for the wife of William, with Kate often wearing the same outfits multiple times or re-wearing pieces.

A relatively recent creation from Cartier, the curved design fits Kate's slender, feminine look.
Marketed to add "a dash of elegance" to the wrist of the wearer, the watch includes sword-shaped hands and a deep blue winding mechanism.
She was first seen wearing the classic timepiece in February 2014 and since then has used the watch as a staple in her wardrobe, regularly wearing it for Wimbledon this year.
The blue detailing perfectly goes with Kate's engagement ring, the sapphire ring having been once worn by William's mother Diana.
Having arrived with her family, including toddler George and her youngest, Charlotte, Kate has been impeccably dressed from the first day of the Canadian tour.
But she does have help - travelling with a 12-strong entourage of stylists, aides and private secretaries.
The team includes her hairdresser, nanny and PA and stylist.
She and husband William have also appeared to be enjoying their week-long visit to Canada, with the couple spending time with the country's Prime Minister Justin Tredeau as part of the tour.
