Topless students, bloody noses and vomit in the nightclub queue as Freshers Week carnage comes to an end
Thousands of students hit the town again in Manchester last night after seven days of Freshers Week high-jinks
BOOZY university freshers wrapped up a week of celebrations with another night of carnage on the streets of Manchester last night.
Police and security guards were out in force as thousands of students from Manchester and Salford unis headed out on the town to cap off seven days of Freshers Week high-jinks.
One girl enjoyed a joke with cops as she wore an officer's helmet - but others clashed with police and had to be restrained after scuffles in the early hours and one young man was seen with blood streaming from his nose.
Elsewhere boozed-up students were seen walking topless in the rain or slumped on the pavement while one found a place to nap in a brightly lit takeaway restaurant.
Other revellers were seen urinating in the street and one vomited over a barrier in the queue for a nightclub.
