DIPLOMATS must help calm relations between Boris Johnson and Donald Trump if the tycoon is elected US President, an MP has warned.

Right-wing Republican candidate Mr Trump claimed there were places in London “so radicalised the police are afraid for their own lives”.
Foreign Secretary and former London Mayor Mr Johnson blasted Mr Trump’s comments as “complete and utter nonsense”.
The Tory source said: “It’s in the interests of both great nations for any differences to be put aside to preserve and enhance our special relationship”.
It comes before the first of three televised debates in the US election race tomorrow, with Mr Trump’s Democratic rival Hillary Clinton’s poll lead narrowing.
More than 100 million viewers could watch the showdown.
PM Theresa May will feel “real anxiety” if Mr Trump is elected, according to Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee chairman Crispin Blunt. He said: “The entire global establishment is looking with horror at the possibility he might win.
“At this stage, no one has any idea what direction his administration will go in so we will have to deal with it.”
Meanwhile, top pollster Allan Lichtman who has predicted every US election winner since 1984, believes Mr Trump will be elected.
