World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury is embroiled in a fresh doping scandal amid claims he recently missed a drugs test
TYSON Fury, World Heavyweight Champion, missed a drugs test after he refused to allow a visit inspectors from UK Anti-Doping, it has been alleged.
He was said to tell testers to "f*** off" when visited by the drug testing body.
This comes after the much anticipated rematch against Wladimir Klitschko was postponed for a second time, with the reason being he is "medically unfit to fight".
There are fears this could be a recurrence of his mental health issues - he has previously spoken of his battle with depression.
His uncle, Peter, has lept to Fury's defence as fears grow he may never fight again.
He tweeted: "With Tysons condition’ he can not be held culpable’ detailed statement coming soon on health. He will not & should not be stripped of belts."
The Daily Mirror revealed the champion fighter was embroiled in a drugs testing scandal after refusing to allow testers from UK Anti-Doping to carry out a check.
The boxer's representatives are said to have contacted the drug testing body to reschedule but this has not taken place.
A source told the : “Tyson was visited by testers over the last few weeks but just refused. He said, ‘F*** off’, and wouldn’t do it. His camp tried to contact UKAD to get him tested but to date that has not taken place.”
Fury was spotted watching the WBA lightweight title at the Machester Arena tonight.

Athletes who refuse drugs tests or tamper with their sample can face a four year ban.
Fury's uncle said he could not comment on the allegations and a spokeswoman from UK Anti-Doping also would not comment until "due process has been completed".
Fury, 28, has previously denied allegations that traces of a banned anabolism steroid were found in a sample tested last year.
This is said to have taken place before he won the world title from Wladimir Klitschko.
Effects of the drug nandrolone can include muscle growth.
The boxer, dubbed the Gypsy King, was scheduled to put the WBA super and WBO titles on the line at the Manchester Arena on October 29.
But a statement from promoters Hennessy Sports said: “It is with the deepest regret that we have to announce the world heavyweight championship rematch between will not be going ahead.
“Tyson has, this week, been declared medically unfit to fight.
“Medical specialists have advised that the condition is too severe to allow him to participate in the rematch and that he will require treatment before going back into the ring.
“Tyson will now immediately undergo the treatment he needs to make a full recovery.
“We and Tyson wish to express our sincerest apologies to all those concerned with the event and all the boxing fans who had been looking forward to the rematch.
“Tyson is understandably devastated by the development."
