HISTORY buff Mary Beard appeared to back tractor porn MP Neil Parish by saying she also accidentally ended up on a sex site — after Googling “Titian’s Caesar portraits”.
The telly expert said it was “a shock and I left pronto” after searching for the Renaissance painter’s work online.
Conservative Parish quit last week after admitting he has twice watched adult clips in the House of Commons.
But the farmer, 65, said he had only viewed the porn by accident because he had been looking for “tractors” online and had got “into another website with sort of a very similar name”.
Pals said he was actually looking for Dominator combine harvesters when the search resulted in the hardcore filth.
Classics expert Beard, 67, admitted on Twitter she had a similar experience to his.

She wrote: “This is not meant as a support for Mr Parrish but I have ended up on a porn site after searching for Titian's Caesar portraits. A shock and I left pronto!”
The Eleven Caesars are a series of painted half-length portraits of Roman emperors by the Italian artist in the 16th century.
Asked whether she had been tempted to revisit her searches under his name, Beard responded: “No... and it has a bit put me off searching for Titian in general!”
She added: “I have given up searching Titian! Too dangerous.”
