Man stabbed to death near St Paul’s with killer still on the run as cops launch murder probe
A MAN was stabbed to death in London last night and his killer is still on the run.
Officers found the victim seriously injured near St. Paul's Cathedral and gave him CPR.
He was then rushed to the Royal London Hospital, where he later died. No arrests have been made.
City of London Police did not confirm if it is thought to be a targeted or random attack.
The force has not had a murder under its watch 2019, when two people were killed in the London Bridge terror attack.
And there was one murder the year before.

Assistant Commissioner Pete O'Doherty, from the City of London Police, said: “City of London Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Gresham Street, EC2V, at 11:30pm on May 1.
"Officers found a man suffering from serious injuries and carried out CPR at the scene before he was taken to the Royal London Hospital where he later sadly died.
A forensics team had cordoned off parts of the road this morning. A blue car was also seen cordoned off.
Evidence markers and clothes in front of another vehicle were seen within a cordon.
It comes after a man in his 30s was knifed to death in Greenwich, South East London, in the early hours of Sunday.
Met Police officers called it a "shocking and brutal act of violence".
Earlier this year, The Sun revealed London's most dangerous boroughs with one region recording a third of fatal shootings.
It revealed Haringey and Greenwich had the most murder investigations launched in 2021.
