Brit man stuns car dealership in Kent buying SIX FERRARIS without even looking at them – and sent Top Gear’s Stig to test drive them

The man racked up a bill of more than £600,000

A BRITISH man, who bought six red Ferraris without seeing them and even got Top Gear’s Stig to test drive them, has left staff at a car dealership baffled with the unprecedented deal.

The man, who lives in Singapore, is believed to have never owned any of the Italian cars before he made the eye-watering purchase.

According to Foskers Ferrari in Brands Hatch, Kent, the buyer first visited their showroom at Foskers in July.

He then returned to South-East Asia and subsequently bought four classic cars from the Ferrari specialist – which weren’t even in the showroom when he was there.

The dealership then received two more orders from the man, believed to be middle-aged, who racked up a bill of more than £600,000 in the process.

Jeff Fosker, director of Foskers Sales Ltd, revealed: “When he was over from Singapore, he had a good look around the showroom in general, but the cars he ended up buying weren’t even on site.

“Three or four weeks after he returned to Asia, he put in an order with us for four cars, but he swiftly extended that to six in total when he realised a couple more friends needed one for the drive down to Southampton.”

He added: “The only stipulation was that they had to be in Ferrari’s famous ‘racing red’ colour.”

And instead of testing the cars himself, the man sent racing driver Perry McCarthy, who was Top Gear’s original Stig, to take them for a spin.

The models he purchased were a Ferrari 360 Spider, Ferrari F355 Spider, Ferrari 355 F1 Berlinetta, Ferrari 512 TR, Ferrari 328 GTB and a Ferrari 328 GTS – all built between 1987 and 2001.

The man, who does not want to be named saw his grand purchases for the first time over the weekend with his friends – who were then shown how to get the best out of the sports cars on the road.

But it looks like he won’t be getting much use from the supercar as the car firm has now put the Ferraris into their storage facility where they expected to remain until next summer.

Foskers say they’ve been asked to organise two bespoke tours for the buyer and his friends -one in Scotland and one exploring the wine and champagne regions of France.
