Shocking video shows daredevil lad risking life jumping between 20 foot high houses
The clattering noise of roof tiles smashing can be heard as the jumper lands on his feet
THIS is the heart-stopping moment a daredevil jumps between two 20 foot-high buildings.
Shocking footage shows the youngster running and leaping over a massive gap between the two properties.
Clattering noise of roof tiles smashing can be heard as he lands following the jump.
The incident took place at the West Park housing estate currently being built on the outskirts of Darlington.
Police warned the incident could have "easily ended in tragedy".
A police spokesperson said: "Young people so often think they're invincible and don't think through the potential consequences of their actions."
This is not the first time cops have warned of the dangers of free-running in the town.
In July this year, youngsters were spotted risking their lives atop a 131ft office block in Northgate House, Darlington.

Police believed they were taking part in a dangerous craze that is sweeping the region.
The warning came just over a year after Darlington teenager Kyle Hull died aged just 15 when he fell through the roof of Darlington’s Cattle Mart in Clifton Road.
Earlier this week, another daredevil diver jumped five stories into a swimming pool.
The jumper, who uses the pseudonym 8booth, filmed himself leaping from the fifth story balcony of a hotel in Laguna Beach, California.
The camera seems to be fixed to his head in the footage providing a first person vision of the death defying leap.
He can be seen scaling a fence in a back alley to gain entrance to the hotel before quickly running through the halls.
Like a flash he dashes on to what seems to be a fifth floor balcony before hurling himself over the railings and tumbling the many feet to the waiting water.
Crashing into the pool unscathed he wrenches himself from the blue and flees after vaulting the fence.
