PIERS Morgan has today slammed Nigel Farage as "pathetic and graceless" for giving Donald Trump a dossier of all his criticisms.

The TalkTV host, 57, said Farage tried to stitch him up - but boasted how it backfired by giving him a "corker" of an interview with the former US president.

And he insisted he stands by all of his criticisms of the former US President following the "pathetic attempt to ruin my interview".

Piers today claimed Trump had been tense during their interview after having been given a three-page document with all the criticisms the former Good Morning Britain host had written about him.

And Farage admitted he had been the one to give the document to the former US President, telling Trump that Piers boasted in UK media that he was his friend while simultaneously stitching him up.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Mr Farage recalled visiting Mar-a-Lago days before the interview took place and telling Mr Trump about the criticisms levelled at him by Piers.

He said he had told Mr Trump, "If you do this interview, here is the truth" before handing him the dossier.

Farage added: "Trump clearly was extremely displeased. The interview, because of that, wasn't quite the friendliest it ever could have been."

But Piers then hit back online: "Actually, Nigel, the only stitching up was done by you when you sent him that dossier of my criticisms (which I stand by) in a pathetic attempt to ruin my Trump interview - especially graceless after I congratulated you after yours.

"Fortunately, it backfired & I got a corker!"

Piers today wrote in The Sun how Trump snarled "what the f**k is this?" as he was challenged over his refusal to accept his 2020 US election defeat.

And Piers said Trump took issue with him blaming him for last year's Capitol riots.

During the interview, Trump began reading several of Piers' previous quotes about him, including "Trump's a supreme narcissist", before calling him a fake and later cancelling the interview.

Trump called his interviewer dishonest, a fool and barked at the shocked TV crew: "Turn the cameras off!"

But Trump has denied storming out of the interview, claiming the clip released was "deceptively edited".

The full interview will air when his global TalkTV show Piers Morgan Uncensored launches on Monday.

Meanwhile the host jokingly stormed off of ITV in his first return to the broadcaster since leaving Good Morning Britain.

He told Lorraine Kelly, 62, on her daytime show that he had always tried to be fair with Trump.

And he urged viewers to watch the interview with the former US president before reaching conclusions, teasing that it was a heated debate but also a lot of fun.

He added that he was sorry to leave GMB and pledged to tackle woke cancel culture in his new TalkTV show Uncensored.
