THE child stars of new Netflix mega hit Stranger Things have been slammed for their Emmy Awards skit that saw them handing out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to A-list guests.

Grinning Gaten Mattarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Millie Bobby Brown stole the show when they cycled through the star-studded aisles handing out snacks.

But there has been strong criticism of the move -- with some saying it posed a serious health risk as guests might be allergic to nuts.
