THE child stars of new Netflix mega hit Stranger Things have been slammed for their Emmy Awards skit that saw them handing out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to A-list guests.
Grinning Gaten Mattarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Millie Bobby Brown stole the show when they cycled through the star-studded aisles handing out snacks.
But there has been strong criticism of the move -- with some saying it posed a serious health risk as guests might be allergic to nuts.

"This is very much on our radar… It is extremely risky to pull a stunt like this without considering the danger.”
Host Jimmy Kimmel even joked during the show that organisers "could only afford one EpiPen" -- a reference to high-priced allergy medication currently making headlines in the US.
But one star who was more than happy with her helping of PB&J was Modern Family's Sofia Vergara.
She was spotted munching on the freebie as she awaited to see if her show won best comedy series.
House of Cards star Kevin Spacey was also seen wolfing down a sandwich during the ceremony in LA.
The trio of child stars were well-received on the red carpet before the show, with Caleb showing off a snazzy sense of style with a statement tuxedo jacket and white bow tie.
Gaten beamed his trademark smile in a three-piece tuxedo with a black and grey gingham waistcoat with matching bowtie.
Millie wore her name on her purse and slicked her short bob back in an adorable dress covered in pastel coloured birds, and blew a kiss to the crowd outside the theatre before entering the show.
Shunning the typical demure attitude of their counterparts, the trio looked to be having the time of their lives on the red carpet, and didn't hesitate to pull funny faces and mess around at the prestigious event.
They then rode in on their bikes to hand out the sandwiches to the audiences.
Following on from the first series success, Netflix has just announced that they have started work for series two of the thrilling show.
