Stranger Things child stars SLAMMED for handing out peanut butter sandwiches at Emmy Awards… as Emily Ratajkowski complains treats ‘weren’t good’
A-list guests overheard worrying about allergy risk while 'Blurred Lines' star Emily Ratajkowski says 'they weren't that good'
THE child stars of new Netflix mega hit Stranger Things have been slammed for their Emmy Awards skit that saw them handing out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to A-list guests.
Grinning Gaten Mattarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Millie Bobby Brown stole the show when they cycled through the star-studded aisles handing out snacks.
But there has been strong criticism of the move -- with some saying it posed a serious health risk as guests might be allergic to nuts.
Not only this, but some pampered stars turned their noses up at the simple PB&J sandwich by saying it wasn't good enough for their indulged palates.
Model Emily Ratajkowski -- best known for her topless jig in Robin Thicke's 2013 song Blurred Lines -- told "they weren't that good".

She was filmed after the awards signing autographs for fans when she criticised the free food.
"I actually took one too many bites", she said when asked if she tried the sandwiches. "I regret it".
However, she did at least acknowledge the thought that went into the stunt, which saw the kids pair up with host Jimmy Kimmel's mum to hand out the food.
She said "I appreciated the effort".
According to the, guests were overheard expressing their worry that someone might have an allergic reaction to the nutty snack.
One anonymous star was heard saying: "You never just hand out peanut butter. That’s such a liability.”
Adam Bailine, VP of Marketing and Communications at the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, slammed the stunt.
“We received complaints and concerns regarding the broadcast", he told .
"This is very much on our radar… It is extremely risky to pull a stunt like this without considering the danger.”
Host Jimmy Kimmel even joked during the show that organisers "could only afford one EpiPen" -- a reference to high-priced allergy medication currently making headlines in the US.
But one star who was more than happy with her helping of PB&J was Modern Family's Sofia Vergara.
She was spotted munching on the freebie as she awaited to see if her show won best comedy series.
House of Cards star Kevin Spacey was also seen wolfing down a sandwich during the ceremony in LA.
The trio of child stars were well-received on the red carpet before the show, with Caleb showing off a snazzy sense of style with a statement tuxedo jacket and white bow tie.
Gaten beamed his trademark smile in a three-piece tuxedo with a black and grey gingham waistcoat with matching bowtie.

Millie wore her name on her purse and slicked her short bob back in an adorable dress covered in pastel coloured birds, and blew a kiss to the crowd outside the theatre before entering the show.
Shunning the typical demure attitude of their counterparts, the trio looked to be having the time of their lives on the red carpet, and didn't hesitate to pull funny faces and mess around at the prestigious event.
They then rode in on their bikes to hand out the sandwiches to the audiences.
Following on from the first series success, Netflix has just announced that they have started work for series two of the thrilling show.
