RUSSIAN forces have launched hundreds of attacks on Ukraine in a single day as they seek revenge for the humiliating sinking of the Moskva warship.
The country's Defence Ministry said it hit more than 300 military targets overnight in the first major missile strike in weeks.
Vladimir Putin's forces claims to have hit fuel depots, warehouses and other vital infrastructure in eastern Ukraine, killing six people.
It comes as the Kremlin rages over the embarrassing sinking of its flagship Moskva by Ukrainian troops over the weekend.
Images have emerged of the warship in flames and sinking in the Black Sea after being hit Ukrainian missiles.
Artillery rained down on Lviv, Kyiv and much of eastern Ukraine on Monday in what's being dubbed a new phase in Mad Vlad's onslaught in the country.

The crazed dictator is expected to launch a bloody major offensive in the Donbass region any day now in a bid to undo weeks of military failures.
Russian forces are now targeting Ukrainian fuel and ammunition silos and important transportation infrastructure.
Attacks intensified as the ministry said Russian troops were on the verge of capturing the besieged port city of Mariupol, where Ukrainian troops have vowed to fight to the end.
Three missiles strikes in Lviv hit an empty military warehouse and a fourth hit a garage near a train station.

Mad Vlad's forces have also unleashed further destruction on major cities including Mykolaiv and Kharkiv, where six people were killed on Sunday and Monday, local officials said.
Meanwhile sick Russian troops have planted deadly traps in washing machines and among corpses in a bid to kill innocent Ukrainians.
Russia's intense shelling across the country over the last few days marks the start of a new operation to achieve its goals, after Putin appointed a new General, Aleksandr Dvornikov.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's adviser said: "Five powerful missile strikes on the civilian infrastructure of ancient European Lviv.
"The Russians continue to barbarically attack Ukrainian cities from the air, cynically declaring to the whole world their 'right' ... to kill Ukrainians."
In a concerning assertion, Zelenskyy said in last night's address that Russia wants to "finish off" Ukraine's eastern Donbas region and wipe some places "off the face of the Earth".

The Donbas - made up of Luhansk and Donetsk - has seen heavy fighting between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russian separatists since 2014.
Zelenskyy added Ukraine is prepared to end the war through diplomacy if possible, but we do not have intention to surrender.
