Boy, 12, left in coma after ‘freak accident’ at home as devastated family will youngster to pull through

A YOUNG boy has been left in a coma after suffering a "freak accident" while at home.
Archie Battersbee, 12, remains at Royal London Hospital with his heartbroken family by his bedside.
His mum Hollie Dance, 46, is now praying the youngster pulls through after he was left fighting for life.
She told the : "It’s a freak accident which resulted in a brain injury and I’m just reliving it constantly.
“To be honest the doctors are saying negative stuff, he’s not responding, but we do hold hope.
“I feel he needs a bit of time.

“Obviously we don’t know the extent of the injury at the moment so its impossible to say how he’s going to be once he’s out."
The mum is hoping talented Archie will get better so he can go back to doing what he loves - gymnastics and MMA fighting.
She added: “The support really is what’s kept me going. Everyone’s praying for him, he’s getting voice messages from his friends and from gymnastics from MMA.
"It feels like the whole of Southend is with him.”

A page has now been set up to help Archie's family with the cost of travelling to visit him in hospital.
Fundraisers have also donated almost £2,000 to go towards treating the schoolboy when he pulls through.
Claire Howes, who started the page, said: "Archie is one special little boy who currently lies in a coma in Royal London hospital, after a tragic accident.
"Archie's family wait eagerly at his bedside for him to pull through and get better.
"Come on Archie, you can do this darling!! Fight little man FIGHT! We are all there for you x".
