A BRIT teacher and former Buddhist monk has been spared jail despite being found guilty of kidnapping children to use them as sex slaves.
Thai judges found pervert Fabian Frederick Blandford, 64, guilty of committing sex acts with minors.
And he was also found guilty of trafficking and selling children for sex and for use in pornography.
As an English teacher Blandford had direct access to young children, the court heard.
Fang Provincial Court in Chang Mai heard how he was seized by police last January after officers found hundreds of indecent images of children on his computers.

He had been targeted following a tip-off from the USA's Department of Homeland Security, said prosecutors.
American investigators had found horrific paedophile images sent to a US suspect from an IP address used by Blandford, the court was told.
Blandford - who speaks fluent Thai - was ordained as a monk in Chiang Mai but left the monastery to marry a local woman. The couple have one child.
Judges sentenced Blandford to a total of four years and two months, suspended for up to three years.
He was also fined the equivalent of £1,825 and ordered to perform 48 hours of community work.
Blandford must also report to report to probation officers every four months.
