Pair of teenage yobs sent to young offenders’ institution after carjacking female vicar

Team-mates clashed over spot-kick duties earlier in the season as world record signing tried to take over

A BOY of 13 and his teenage pal were sentenced yesterday for carjacking a woman vicar.

The pair dragged her screaming from her vehicle as she left her church after Sunday services.

Two boys who dragged a vicar out of her car in a "shocking attack" as she left a church service have been sentenced. Reverend Irene Wilson was leaving Holy Trinity Church in Hull at 13:30 BST on 7 August when her vehicle was targeted. Jay Desborough, 17, left and Leon Wrigglesworth, 13, right both from the city, were each given a 24-month detention and training order in a young offenders institute at the city's youth court.
