Angry residents of Prince Andrew Way want road name changed after rude jokes
RESIDENTS want to change their road name from Prince Andrew Way over its links to the disgraced royal.
Angry locals are “embarrassed” after jokes and “cringey comments” about the address.
Others are worried about their kids asking about the explosive but unproven sex abuse accusations against the Duke.
Victoria Wagner, 37, first suggested the street name change on app Nextdoor and plans to canvas neighbours.
The teacher and mum-of-two said: “We do not want to be associated with Andrew.
"This whole saga is a stain on the Royal Family.”
Husband Tom, a 37-year-old electrician, said: “I work with a lot of builders so there’s always loads of jokes about it.
"Some are quite derogatory. The name needs changing.”

He was stripped of royal titles but has always denied Ms Giuffre’s accusations.
Marketing worker James Parrott, 42, has lived in the street in Ascot, Berks, for three years and said: “How do I explain who he is to the kids?”
Wife Emily, 41, added: “I went to the doctor’s, gave my address and she goes ‘That’s unfortunate’. It’s cringey and uncomfortable.”
