Child, 8, ‘rushed to hospital after two boys ‘fall through roof’ as firefighters called to home

AN eight-year-old has been rushed to hospital after two boys fell through a roof.

Emergency services rushed to help the child in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, today.

It is understood that an eight-year-old child has fallen through the roof of a building

Yorkshire Ambulance Service were called to Causeway Crescent, Linthwaite, at 4.04pm today to reports that two boys had fallen through a roof.

One of the boys was rushed to hospital – but it’s thought his injuries are not serious.

The area has been cordoned off and a witness said there were “loads of emergency vehicles”.

Another said: “There was more than five appliances at the scene and a load of emergency service vehicles.”

West Yorkshire Fire Service has been contacted for comment.
