Child, 8, ‘rushed to hospital after two boys ‘fall through roof’ as firefighters called to home

AN eight-year-old has been rushed to hospital after two boys fell through a roof.

Emergency services rushed to help the child in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, today.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service were called to Causeway Crescent, Linthwaite, at 4.04pm today to reports that two boys had fallen through a roof.

One of the boys was rushed to hospital - but it's thought his injuries are not serious.

The area has been cordoned off and a witness said there were "loads of emergency vehicles".

Another said: "There was more than five appliances at the scene and a load of emergency service vehicles."

West Yorkshire Fire Service has been contacted for comment.
