Vlogger blasted for North Korea ‘propaganda’ clips films himself scaling London skyscraper in dead of night

A NOTORIOUS British YouTube star who sparked a storm with his relentlessly upbeat vlogs from North Korea has filmed himself scaling a London skyscraper in the dead of night.
Louis Cole, 33, was slammed for failing to represent the realities of life for the starving inhabitants of the rogue Communist state after a visit there this summer.
The vlogger, who was 1.8million subscribers, was forced to deny he was paid to make the clips, insisting he did not agree with North Korean ideologies saying he could only show what he as a tourist had experienced there.
Prominent critic Richard Lawson from Vanity Fair wrote: “The more you watch Cole’s videos from North Korea, the more you wonder if he’s plainly ignorant to the plight of many people in the country, or if he’s willingly doing an alarmingly thorough job of carrying water for Kim Jong Un’s regime.”
Louis also had some praise for Kim Jong-Un, the chubby dictator who took power from his father, saying: “It’s funny that the family leading this country with such prestige and worship nationwide, started from such humble beginnings of being rebel freedom fighters against the Japanese.
“This is the most fascinating travel experiences I’ve ever had.”
In a statement, a spokeswoman for Louis said “the videos were in no way paid for, commissioned or influenced by any political or government body”.
In his latest adventure the web star is shown joining forces with photographers Jacob Briglin and Harry Gallagher as they break into a skyscraper that is under construction in the city of London.
The trio are shown making their way to the roof where they pose precariously for pictures.
Cole tells of his nerves being up so high, at one point saying: “This rooftop is pretty sketchy – look at this edge.
“There’s no barrier beyond this.
“There’s not a lot of things that scare me but this scares me.”
