THIS is the horrific moment a bloodthirsty seagull attacked a pigeon - and ate it ALIVE.
Commuters watched on as the vicious bird dive-bombed its victim at a train station.
Sickening footage shows the hungry gull then pecking the pigeon as it flaps frantically in a desperate bid to escape.
After five minutes, the weaker bird falls to the tracks below.
But instead of giving up, the savage gull follows it down and continues the relentless assault, eventually cornering its prey between two sleepers.
At one point the killer bird flew away to let a train pass, onlookers said.
But they were disgusted when it returned shortly afterwards to continue pecking at the bloodied pigeon - and proceeded to eat its INSIDES.
Giulia Crouch, who watched from a train waiting at Temple Meads Station in Bristol on Sunday evening, said: "I've never seen anything like it.
"It was gruesome. I was incredulous."
The 24-year-old, who was travelling through Bristol on her way to London Paddington, was on the phone to a friend but hung up to film the attack.
She said: "I saw a seagull swoop down and peck a pigeon on the platform.
"I thought the seagull was trying to move the pigeon away from some food it wanted to nab but it kept aggressively jabbing the pigeon with its beak
"It then got the pigeon by the neck and began violently shaking it."
Passengers on the train could be heard saying "It's going to eat it alive", while other commuters on the platform tried in vain to stop the attack.
Giulia added: "The pigeon didn't stand a chance, the seagull was obviously really hungry.
"At one point the pigeon managed to flap off and fell onto the tracks.
"Everyone gasped, but the seagull was relentless and swooped down on its prey again.
"The seagull just started eating the pigeon's insides. Its beak was covered in blood. It seemed to take absolutely ages for the pigeon to die.
"People were shocked but couldn't stop watching. You could hear everyone on the carriage talking about it."
Giulia said the bird "looked triumphant" when its victim fell lifeless.
She said: "I didn't know seagulls were such ruthless killers.
"I'm glad I was in the safety of the train because I would have been scared had I been too close."
