My daughter battered me at her own wedding – I’ve cut her out of my will so she’ll get nothing
A MUM has told how she has cut her daughter out of her will after she battered her in a brawl on her wedding day.
Cherry-Ann Lindsay, 47, was choked, punched and kicked by bridezilla Claire Goodbrand after an explosive row erupted at the reception.
The furious gran has now disowned her only child to stop her from getting her hands on any of her assets or cash.
Cherry-Ann says she was left fearing for her life as Claire, 26, thumped her with a stiletto after hours of heavy boozing turned the big day sour.
The horror ordeal erupted as the family were celebrating the nuptials of the 26-year-old and Eamonn Goodbrand at The Vu at Ballencrieff Toll in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland.
It resulted in the newlyweds spending their wedding night in the cells alongside their best man.
Groom and trained fighter Eammon viciously assaulted Cherry-Ann's 40-year-old partner David Boyd, leaving him severely injured.
Eamonn's brother and chief groomsman Kieran Goodbrand then attacked another guest, injuring him as well.
The booze-fuelled brawl in June 2019 saw the trio arrested and hauled off to the cells.
Cherry-Ann has now cut off mum-of-four Claire after realising the thug would receive her two properties, caravan and life insurance.
The 47-year-old explained: "When we did the speeches the boys were slurring their words.
"When Eamonn finished he said to me, ‘Thanks, Mum, for the money’. That’s all they care about.
"I started getting panicky. My daughter’s an only child. I had two properties, a caravan and life insurance. Everything goes to her.
"I felt worried they were thinking they’d get everything if anything happened to me.
"After the wedding I changed all the paperwork and disinherited her so she’ll get nothing."
Cherry-Ann claimed she’d also been to court to evict her daughter and Eamonn from a pad she let them stay in before they wed.
Cut-throat Claire this week pled guilty to punching and kicking her mum.

The Goodbrand brothers both admitted repeatedly punching and kicking David Boyd in the head and body, causing him to fall to the ground.
The court heard they pushed their thumbs into Mr Boyd’s eyes, bit him on the head and body and repeatedly seized him by the neck.
In addition, Kieran Goodbrand admitted assaulting Garry Brown by punching and kicking him on the head and body at the reception on June 24, 2019.
A fourth member of the family, 37-year-old Brendan Goodbrand, had his not guilty pleas to two assault charges accepted by the Crown.
It was heard that he left the venue before trouble broke out.
Sentencing was deferred following the admissions of guilt.
