Bride, groom & best man spend wedding night in cells after brutal brawl
A BRIDE, her groom and their best man spent the wedding night in a prison cell after a brutal brawl on the big day.
Claire Goodbrand attacked her own mum, as well as other guests, after violence erupted at the reception.
The bridezilla grabbed mother Cherry-Ann Lindsay by the hair before punching her, choking her and booting her while she lay on the ground.
She then cracked the victim over the head with her wedding heels.
Her new husband Eamonn Goodbrand and his brother Kieran, the couple's best man, also leapt into the fray.
The pair viciously assaulted guest David Boyd, leaving him severely injured.

Kieran Goodbrand then attacked another guest, injuring him as well.
After police arrived to break up the fight, the three were arrested and dragged to the cells.
The new Mr and Mrs Goodbrand spent their wedding night apart before appearing shamefaced in the dock the following Monday.
When they were finally released from custody, Claire was wearing her going-away outfit.

The groom and best man were dressed in prison-issue Primark tracksuits and still wearing their mud-stained wedding shoes.
Former boxer Eamonn, 33, who was sporting a head injury, his wife, 26, and his brother, 28, all gave an address in South Lanarkshire, Scotland when they appeared in court.
Livingston Sheriff Court heard the row was captured on CCTV. Video reportedly shows the brawlers spilling out of the wedding venue onto the lawn outside.
Claire Goodbrand admitted indictment to assault to injury. She pleaded not guilty to a more serious charge of assault to severe injury.

The court heard she repeatedly seized her mother by the hair and punched and kicked her on the head and body.
The victim fell to the ground and hit her head outside The Vu wedding venue in West Lothian’s Bathgate Hills.
But the defendant's attack didn't stop - and she kicked her mum before ripping off a shoe and hitting her with it. She also grabbed her around the neck.
Eamonn and Kieran both admitted repeatedly punching and kicking David Boyd on the head and body, causing him to fall to the ground.
The court heard they pushed their thumbs into Mr Boyd’s eyes, bit him on the head and body and repeatedly seized him by the neck, all to his severe injury.
In addition, Kieran Goodbrand admitted assaulting Garry Brown by punching and kicking him on the head and body at the reception on June 24 2019.
A fourth member of the family, 37-year-old Brendan Goodbrand, had his not guilty pleas to two assault charges accepted by the Crown.
It was heard that he left the venue before trouble broke out.
BRIDE WARS
Following the admissions of guilt, prosecutor Alan Wickham formally moved for sentence and tendered a list of previous convictions for both men. Claire Goodbrand does not have a criminal record.
Sheriff Martin Edington called for criminal justice social work reports on all three accused before passing sentence.
He adjourned the case until April 29 for information on possible disposals, including social work supervision, unpaid hours of work and restriction of liberty by electronic curfew.
Eamonn Goodbrand’s Facebook page reveals that he works as a professional fighter, boxing competitively as a light middleweight.

It was reported after the wedding reception that one of the alleged victims was bitten on the finger but was treated by medics for the injury.
The prosecution will narrate the full circumstances when the case calls for sentence.
