Man, 21, dies after being repeatedly stabbed outside home on leafy street

COPS have launched a murder investigation after a 21-year-old man was stabbed multiple times on a residential street.

The victim was found in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and taken to hospital by paramedics, where he later died.

He was knifed on Monday shortly before midnight but died in the early hours of Tuesday from his injuries, cops said.

Thames Valley Police launched a manhunt for the attacker and appealed to for any witnesses to come forward.

Cops added that the man's family have been informed and local residents can expect see more officers in the area this week.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Howard said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time.

“We are in the very early stages of our investigation and we are working to establish the exact circumstances of what has taken place.

"As such, it is very important that anyone with any information at all which could relate to this offence gets in touch as soon as possible.

“If you saw any kind of disturbance in the Netherfield area at about 11.30pm on Monday, or if you have any other information which you think could help us, I would urge you to get in touch.

“I know that this news is likely to cause concern in the community, but I would like to reassure everyone that a full and thorough investigation is underway.

“People are likely to see a large police presence in the area over the next few days as we carry out our investigation, and a scene watch is in place at the location where this incident occurred."
