Man raped on church grounds in middle of the night as cops arrest 20-year-old man in Exeter

COPS have arrested a man after a man was raped on church grounds last night.

Devon and Cornwall Police say the incident happened between 4am and 5.15am on Tuesday March 29.

It’s thought the man was sexually assaulted in the area around St Sidwell’s Church, in Exeter, Devon.

A scene guard remains in place in the area.

A 20-year-old man from the Exeter area has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remained in police custody.
