Legoland paedo attack mums speak out about daughters’ ordeal as cops release e-fit of suspect

Traumatised parents open up to BBC Crimewatch about chilling assault on the two six-year-old pals

TWO mums whose young girls suffered harrowing sex attacks on a family day out at Legoland have spoken about the ordeal.

A paedophile pounced on the two six-year-old pals as they took a "bucket list" trip to the themepark.

Their families had gone there together in the school summer holidays and the girls were in a fort at Castaway Camp, the Windsor theme park’s pirate playground.

Police have released an e-fit of the person who attacked the young girls.

They were assaulted between 12.15 and 12.30pm while playing.

One of the mothers told BBC Crimewatch: “I wasn’t concerned about them being in there.

“I was concerned with one of them running out and getting lost.

“So [a family member] was at the entrance to catch them.

“You just wouldn’t even think that there was another adult in there.”

A reconstruction of the incident will be shown on Crimewatch followed by a police appeal.

Last month detectives arrested a man aged 22 on suspicion of attacking the girls but he was later released without charge.

In August, Thames Valley Police said: "Such offences are extremely rare and we are working closely with Legoland to identify the suspect."
