Radical Islamic group campaign to have Winston Churchill removed from £5 notes claiming he was ‘racist’
A RADICAL Islamic group was slammed yesterday for an attack on Sir Winston Churchill.
It is behind a campaign to have the revered wartime leader removed from the new plastic £5 note — claiming he was racist.
The group, Cage, who described IS executioner Jihadi John as a “beautiful young man”, mocked up a note with selective quotes from Churchill on Hindus and Muslims.
But Sir Winston’s granddaughter Celia Sandys hit back.
