Who are President Volodymyr Zelensky’s children?
Since 2003, President Zelensky has been married to Ukrainian screenwriter Olena Zelenska.
After tying the knot, the couple welcomed two children together, daughter Aleksandra, 17, and son Kiril, 9.
In March 2022, Zelensky opened up about his children, telling that he wants them to understand what is happening.
Zelenskyy said: "My children know for sure what is happening and I don't know whether it's good or bad."
He later went on to add that while fighting in a war that has already taken thousands of lives, he has been able to see his family, but they reportedly stay out of the public eye.
Zelensky continued: "[My children] are proud of Ukraine, very proud.
"They entertain a sincere hope in our victory.

"Children believe in victory, but they cannot believe in it terms of a score in some sort of a game like in football — like we have killed 10 people from Russia and they have killed five people from Ukraine. They simply believe that the good shall prevail."
When talking about education, Zelenskyy told the media outlet that his children are allowed to view any content that is out there, and that he has not censored their information in any way.
He added: "My children should not be prohibited from seeing any kinds of videos of what Russia has made.
"My son has to be aware of it because while my son is alive, that means that some Ukrainian army member is giving up his life."
Prior to Zelensky's interview, Russia banned BBC, Facebook, and Twitter, in an attempt to cut off access to the sites in the Kremlin.
Why is Russia invading Ukraine?
In December 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he had no plans to attack Ukraine, however, on February 24, 2022, he launched an attack on the country.
Putin is believed to want to reclaim many territories lost at the fall of the Soviet Union.
A month after the war began, Putin offered to end the war if Ukraine gave up the city of Mariupol, but Ukraine denied the chilling ultimatum.
As a result of the invasion, many countries have implemented sanctions against Russia that have reportedly already begun hurting their economy.
At this time, it remains unclear if NATO countries will get involved in the war.
