A SCORNED mistress has been found not guilty of claims she sent pics of a married man's penis to his wife after he broke off their affair.
Janice Mansfield was cleared at Croydon Crown Court yesterday after being accused of sending explicit revenge porn to her lover's wife.
The 59-year-old met the man online but he broke off their relationship around three months later in February.
She did not take the news well received a police caution ten days after the break-up when he claimed she was 'harassing' him.
Prosectuors claimed Mansfield, of Purley, south London, sent a special delivery to his home addressed to his wife.
At Croydon Crown Court on Friday Richard Job prosecuting said: "She did not take that news well. In the days that followed she sent him a number of messages that he found distressing.
"In light of what happened before he was concerned that the letter may contain material that would upset his wife so he opened it.
"It contained a long letter addressed to his wife detailing the affair that he had with Janet Mansfield. It had attached to it a number of photographs, including six photographs of his erect penis."
He reported the letter and the previous emails to the police and Mansfield was arrested in March.
But she was found not guilty on Monday after a two-day trial.
