A SYRIAN refugee aged 16 appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder of a nightclub DJ outside a Subway shop.
Tom Roberts, 21, was stabbed in the chest just before 5am last Saturday.
His attacker fled on an electric scooter in Bournemouth.
The teenager was held on Sunday and appeared at Poole magistrates’ court with an interpreter.
He is said to have arrived in the UK in 2019 and had been expelled from school here.
It is alleged that police stopped him in possession of a machete two days before Tom was murdered.
