Two parked cars don’t get in the way of workmen laying a new road surface as these rib-tickling shots show

Tarmac simply laid around the vehicles on seafront in Penzance - despite warnings that work was taking place

TWO parked cars didn’t get in the way of workmen laying a new road surface - as these hilarious shots show.

The pair had left their motors on the seafront in Penzance, Cornwall - as renovations were taking place to the prom.

But instead of removing the vehicles, staff from Cormac, working on behalf of Cornwall Council, merely worked around them - leaving the road’s old surface underneath

Traffic cones have been out all week discouraging people from parking on the front and notes were put on every car parked on the prom over the weekend - although it is not clear when the offending vehicles were left.
