ALLERGIC TO AUTHORITY

Opening up about her childhood she said was "allergic to authority or rules" and "wanted the freedom" that comes with money.

She added: "I hated to be told what to do. I was closer with my dad as I had more freedom and less oversight."

But she said: "I guess that they stepped in too late. I don't want to blame my parents."

Delvey said she began to rebel more when she realized her parents "weren't all that."

'SUPPORTIVE' PARENTS

Now she says she "gives them [my parents] an update" each week, adding: "They're letting me doing my thing."

They send their daughter magazines and money if she needs it, Anna confirmed.

Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, was released from prison in 2021 after being found guilty of grand larceny in 2019.

She is currently in ICE custody after being arrested again for an expired visa where she gave the podcast interview from.

DAD WAS BEING 'SARCASTIC'

While the court heard Delvey pretended to be a German heiress with a $60million trust fund, in reality, she was born to working-class parents just outside Moscow in 1991 and moved to Germany as a teen.

Her father Vadim Sorokin told Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Prava in 2019 that her family did not know what Delvey's life in New York was like.

He called his daughter "selfish", adding: "Before her detention, we knew nothing about her life in US.

"Our daughter has never sent us any money. On the contrary, she was borrowing. Of course we are very concerned about her."

He told DailyMail.com: "She has a selfish personality, we can't do anything about it. We raised her well.

"I don't know, it comes from nature. Naturally, she is guilty to certain extent."

MARRIAGE PROPOSALS

But in the podcast, first broadcast on Tuesday and recorded on March 7, Anna said her dad was probably being "sarcastic" when he made the comments.

The Sorokins moved to Duran, Germany, from their previous residence in Eschweiler, located near the German-Dutch border and Cologne, where Delvey grew up.

Vadim has a heating and cooling business and prior to that was a truck driver. Delvey's mom is a small convenience store owner.

ADOPTION OFFERS

Delvey was found guilty of grand larceny and other charges in 2019 and sentenced to four to 12 years in state prison.

Her infamy as the so called “fake heiress” has gained global attention, spawning a hugely successful podcast, books and even prompting Netflix to turn her story into 2022's hit series Inventing Anna.

She told Call My Daddy podcast host Alexandra Cooper she now gets dozens of marriage proposals and offers to adopt her following her crimes.

MURDERERS 'NORMAL'

Anna also admitted to finding murderers she met in prison "normal" and said the first thing she will do when she gets out of detention is have laser eye surgery to get rid of her iconic eyewear.

She also said she had a jail assistant and paid others to do her laundry at Rikers Island prison.

'FAKE ACCENT'

And she slammed rumors of a fake accent, adding: "'Did anyone hear me speak any different,.
