Her actions sparked fears of a terror attack after ISIS recently threatened to target holiday resorts in Europe.

Just last year, ISIS-inspired killer Saifeddine Rezgui stormed a hotel in Sousse, Tunisia, and gunned down 38 people - 30 of which were Brits.

Footage of the incident in Fuerteventura showed the hotel worker walking past sunbathers' chairs and shocked tourists.

One woman can be seen picking her terrified child up as the worker wanders past, waving the gun in their direction.

According to , one woman, fearing it was an ISIS attack, grabbed her bag and fled to hotel reception.

Another ducked behind a nearby wall, and a group of men sought shelter at the bar.

The website reported the woman was actually part of the Oasis Village's entertainment team, and was looking for tourists keen to attend a hotel-organised shooting activity.

Just last month the barbaric ISIS death cult promised revenge over "crimes committed by Spain against Muslims".

The Foreign Office ranks Spain as a "high threat" destination - the same level as France, Belgium, Egypt and Turkey.

The Canary Islands, an autonomous region of Spain, are a popular destination for British tourists and are frequented by thousands of people every year.
