Trump rips Biden for ‘playing into Putin’s hands’ and ‘incompetent’ Kamala Harris for laughing about Ukrainian refugees
FORMER President Trump ripped into President Biden for “playing into Putin’s hands” and Vice President Harris for laughing about Ukrainian refugees on FOX News.
Trump chatted with Sean Hannity via phone about the unfolding situation between Russia and Ukraine.
Trump said President Biden is “playing into Putin’s hands” as the situation between Russia and Ukraine continues to escalate.
He also called Vice President Harris “incompetent” and referenced the video of her laughing during a press conference earlier today when answering a question about Ukrainian refugees.
Hannity asked Trump if he viewed people like Putin as enemies that he needed to keep close.
“I got along with these people well,” Trump responded.

“I understood them and they understood me.”
“Nobody was ever tough on Russia like I was,” Trump added.
“Putin will tell you.”
Hannity also asked Trump if he believed Putin to be evil, and Trump could not provide a straight answer, saying instead “When you look, this doesn’t seem to be the same Putin I was dealing with.”
“But I will tell you, he wouldn’t have changed if I were dealing with him, he wouldn’t have changed.”
Trump also told Hannity he believes Putin wishes he hadn’t started “this mess,” saying the Russian President is “in a bad corner.”
“This is turning into a disaster,” Trump added.
The former president also addressed inflation and the increase Americans are experiencing at the pumps.
“You could really reduce inflation fairly rapidly if you could solve the energy problem,” he said.
“Normal, beautiful, midwestern states are paying four or five dollars [a gallon] … it’s gonna be a shock like this country hasn’t had in a long time.”
Trump also said the Green New Deal “is gonna destroy the country.”
“These people don’t know what they’re doing.”
In the final seconds of the interview, Hannity asked Trump his thoughts on 2022 and 2024.
“I think we’re gonna have a tremendous victory in the House,” Trump said. He echoed similar sentiments about the Senate races.
“I think a lot of people are going to be very happy in 2024.”
