'GROSS VIOLATION'
Navy officer dismissed after secretly filming himself having sex with woman and sharing it on Snapchat
A NAVY officer has been “dismissed with disgrace” after secretly filming himself having sex with a woman and sharing it on Snapchat.
Sub-Lieutenant Scott Ewing wanted to brag to pals who said she was “out of his league”, a court martial heard.
The 11-second clip showed Ewing, 25, smiling and signalling an OK sign while he had sex.
Dartmouth-based Ewing claimed he told her “the lads have got to see this” and she consented. But the woman denied this, saying: “When I found out, I was shocked.”
Judge Advocate Alistair McGrigor called it “a gross violation of trust”.
Ewing was convicted of voyeurism at Bulford military court, Wilts.
He also got a three-year community order, put on a sex offending programme and must do 100 hours’ unpaid work.
