Our idiot neighbours celebrated their baby gender reveal with FIREWORKS – it terrified our pet dogs, it was unnecessary
A FUMING woman has slammed her neighbours for terrifying her dogs after they celebrated a gender reveal with fireworks.
The parents-to-be sparked a row on social media after it emerged they used the loud pyrotechnics to reveal whether they were having a boy or girl.
One Grimsby local said: "People wanting to know about fireworks going off it was a gender reveal…[couple's names] congratulations on having a boy."
The post immediately drew criticism towards the celebrating couple from dog owners whose pooches were left terrified by the commotion.
One owner blasted: "Why fireworks???, absolutely ridiculous scared the c**p outta my dogs cheers for that idiots".
While another fumed: "Omg my poor fur baby was shaking like a leaf".
A local even branded the couple "selfish" for their "unnecessary" display.
But some people tried to defend the family celebrating the happy news.

A local said: "Some people don't like to see other people happy and having fun".
While a dog owner added: "And why not? 5mins of noise, I'm a pet owner, had it been going on at 11pm for hours yes I wouldn't of been happy … but it wasn't."
The Sun revealed one chaotic gender party reveal last year where no one found out the sex of the baby after their older sister threw a tantrum.
A mum-to-be also told how her mother ruined her party by tricking her into thinking she was having a baby girl.
