Here’s how YOU can help the one million innocent refugees fleeing Ukraine

MORE than one million refugees have fled Ukraine in the past week according to United Nations figures.

Officials fear as many as four million will be forced out by July in the biggest single movement of people since World War Two.

Nearly 550,000 have already reached Poland.

Boris Johnson says the UK could take in 200,000.

At the Romanian border there are queues of up to 20 hours to enter.

High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi said: “In just seven days, one million people have fled Ukraine, uprooted by this senseless war. Rarely have I seen an exodus as rapid as this one.

“Minute by minute, more people are fleeing the terrifying reality of violence. Countless have been displaced inside the country.

“And unless there is an immediate end to the conflict, millions more are likely to be forced to flee.
