First picture of Theresa May’s Cabinet sees Boris Johnson manspreading wildly as he squeezes out two female colleagues
The Foreign Secretary stretches his legs in official snap – and it turns out he is a repeat offender
THE FIRST picture of Theresa May’s Cabinet has been released but all eyes are on Boris Johnson after he was manspreading wildly.
The Foreign Secretary once again stole the limelight from the Prime Minister as he squeezed two of his female colleagues for space by stretching his legs wide apart.
Sat in between Education Secretary Justine Greening and Home Secretary Amber Rudd, Mr Johnson is showing poor etiquette.
The photo, released this morning, shows Mrs May’s top team altogether for the first time since taking over from David Cameron, with Boris in the front row close to other big hitters like the Chancellor Philip Hammond.
But social media users quickly picked up on the minister’s poor seating behaviour, with dozens tweeting accusing him of ‘manspreading’.
The term was coined to describe the way men, particularly on public transport, take up more space than they should, often at the expense of women sitting next to them.
But nobody should be surprised by Boris’ behaviour, as the former Mayor of London is a serial manspreader.
